Why subscribe at all?+
Photo-to-chart conversion, DMC color lists and PNG exports stay free forever, and every account gets 5 free PDF exports. Subscriptions and credit packs add AI generation at a fixed 8 credits per run, and unlock unlimited PDF exports. The commercial licence is already in the free tier, you never pay for it.
Can I switch plans or cancel?+
Cancel anytime in your account; benefits last until the end of the billing period, and your remaining credits and saved works stay. Plan-to-plan upgrades and downgrades are not supported yet. Existing subscriptions keep the terms of their original purchase.
How are credits counted? Do they expire?+
Every AI generation costs a fixed 8 credits, supporting reference image tuning or text-only prompts. The exact price is shown and confirmed before each run. Monthly subscription credits refill monthly and are valid for one month; yearly subscription credits are granted upfront in full and valid for one year. Credit packs are valid for 180 days. New accounts get 30 welcome credits upon registration!
Is yearly really half price?+
Yes. The yearly price is half of twelve monthly instalments: Pro $120/year (≈ $10/month), Ultra $360/year (≈ $30/month). Yearly subscriptions receive the full year's credits upfront in a single grant, valid for one year.
Can I get a refund?+
Digital goods are generally non-refundable. For double charges or anything broken, write to support@crossstitchpatternmaker.app — we usually reply within three business days.
Can I sell the charts I export?+
Yes. Free exports and paid renders both carry the commercial licence — sell the charts and the finished pieces. You're responsible for prompts and materials not infringing anyone's rights.
Is there an API?+
No public API yet. If you need bulk access, write and tell us about your use case.
